We woke up this morning and got ready to head over to do Maylee's newborn photo session with Megan Sokolowski. I was super ecstatic about the session. I couldn't wait to use the yellow newborn tutu I made with the yellow headband bow. It's Maylee's first set of pictures taken by a professional photographer and I already know the pictures are going to turn out great. Megan had tons of props--different types of baskets, a rainbow variety of fabric and headbands, amongst other things. My mother-in-law thought that she worked with my daughter really well. Megan's organization of the session, and way of moving us around the room from one set to the next shows that she truly has experience and knowledge of what she is doing. I am attaching 3 sample pictures that she posted on Facebook. Check them out! :)

Maylee's Newborn Pictures
It's saturday night, and I am just watching the DIY channel with my mother-in-law, as I type this post. Maylee is napping on the nursing pillow on my lap, I'd say pretty contented after feeding a lot. I cannot help but keep looking at her and admiring her. I am not saying this because she is my daughter (or maybe I am haha) but seriously though, what a beautiful kid! I can't wait 'til she grows some more, and see more changes in her facial feature. I can see more detail of her eyebrows more and more each day. That, and the tone of her skin is oh so gorgeous. I can't wait for it to get darker.

Aren't the samples gorgeous? What a tease! I can't wait til she is done editing the rest of the pictures! I took some pictures during the session. I am posting two, plus her business card. If you are looking for a photographer, contact Megan Sokolowski and see what she's got to offer. She specializes in newborn, children & family pictures.
